SPSE’s Team Enterprise, AL, took advantage of a beautiful day to go out and do the Work of God, spreading the Good News about Jesus Christ and the salvation that comes through Him alone. As usual, the four evangelists started their session with prayer.

A handful of people were curious about the team, including one of their own parishioners, who was surprised not only to see public evangelization but also to learn the team has done it for nearly two years now.

Some visitors were Catholics who were not practicing the Faith. The evangelists spoke with these about the importance of the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist, and how they are always welcome to come back Home to full participation in the Catholic Church.

The team also spoke at length to a young woman who was with her mother. The mother, who is Christian, accepted a Rosary and literature but the daughter did not because, though she believed in a Higher Power, she did not consider herself Christian. She stated that she didn’t believe in religion.

Evangelist Mikey Torres spoke with her about the beauty that is around us and that she was right to believe in that Higher Power, Whom we call God. The very same God created us out of sheer love. He became flesh and established The Way for us to get to Heaven, through the Church. Mikey told her that Catholicism is not just some made-up religion but a way of life.

“The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to Himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for. … Although man can forget God or reject Him, He never ceases to call every man to seek Him, so as to find life and happiness. … God willed both to reveal Himself to man and to give him the grace of being able to welcome this revelation in faith” (CCC 27, 30, 35).

The young woman spoke with Mikey a few more minutes and then accepted “The Good News” pamphlet, which explains the Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Team Enterprise!

We need more teams doing this exciting work. Join us?
