Thank you for your prayers during our Leadership Training Institute at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit last week. It is due to our supporting members and prayer warriors that we were able to offer the institute for free to all thirty adults and two teens who attended.
St. Paul Street Evangelization team leaders and team members from all over the country spent four days in intense preparation for the New Evangelization. They took part in lectures with Catholic experts such as Steve Ray and Dr. Peter Williamson on missionary zeal and renewing evangelization efforts in their own communities. Each of our speakers brought their experience and expertise on how to be a an active practitioner in the New Evangelization, instead of a passive recipient. Each attendee also had a chance to teach in front of a live audience of Catholics who wanted to learn how to share their faith. They did an outstanding job and will now be able to lead efforts back in their home parishes and dioceses.
Over the next two months we will be publishing a list of our new regional missionaries online. If you have a missionary near by, we will share how you can ask them to come support your local team, organization, school, parish, or diocese.
