Fr. Mayer, Karen Bernhardt Kuntz, Carm Caruso and Jim Briars descended on Rochester’s Public Market and gave away rosaries, medals, and pamphlets to several hundred people. We met people looking for a parish, those looking for prayer and others with a wide range of needs. It was a very fruitful morning.
One man, a Quaker, said he had never seen Catholics evangelizing like this and congratulated us on it. He also suggested bringing in a choir to perform to grab people’s attention. Great idea. A children’s group? Do any of you play guitar or other instrument? Let’s be creative and have fun!
