Virtual School Has Begun - One Last Chance to Register!

Our East Coast Virtual School of Evangelization started on Tuesday, but we're providing one more week for people to register. The world needs the Gospel now more than ever, which is why we need people who are trained and willing to share the truth of Jesus. Also, in less than two weeks our West Coast Virtual School of Evangelization will begin. There are still spots available, so register today!

Our school emphasizes direct evangelization strategies, relational ministry, and personal growth as an evangelist. Our method of teaching is to learn together through small groups, mentorship, class discussion, and group evangelization outings (where possible) with our local teams.

This cooperative approach helps each student to grow confident evangelizing in various circumstances (family, friends, strangers, in public, and in ministry). There will be evangelization opportunities at the end of each quarter. Each student completes a goals and growth worksheet, and a mentor works with each student on those goals throughout the year.

Don't forget, East Coast virtual students meet on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. West Coast virtual students meet on Wednesdays (beginning Oct. 7) from 7-9 p.m.

True Worship

Detroit, MI. Small and kind gestures can mean so much to people, sometimes more than large gifts or poetic words. Today’s story features one such gesture. Our evangelist simply took a moment to pray for a minor annoyance to be removed from a woman’s business, which opened up a great opportunity for grace.

Get To Know Jesus Through His Church

New Hope, MN. Recently Phil and I “hit the streets” (actually the walking paths at Lake Bde Maka Ska) with Regional Missionary Denise and her team. As we gathered to pray before setting out, we thanked God and asked for blessings on everyone we’d encounter. The first person we met was Louis, a fine young man who had the courage to stop and pray with us. We also had a short conversation about faith. When asked about his youth he said he was raised Lutheran, but claims no Church now, and goes to a service a few times a year. His parents are not really invested in their faith. He prayed that everyone be accepted, and that we could all proceed in truth. We let him know that whatever path he takes will be not only very important for himself, but also for everyone he knows. In the spirit of the truth he spoke of, we invited him to get to know Jesus through the Catholic Church he started, which allows us to know to the fullest extent humanly possible, this truth He spoke of.
