Your Stories Are Still Needed!

SPSESS 8 29 18-2

It can be a challenge to get out and evangelize during this ongoing pandemic, let alone taking a few good photos and writing down a detailed account of the experience. Regardless, we want to encourage our evangelists and team leaders to continue their efforts and send in their stories. By them, others are edified and encouraged to still hit the streets and share the Gospel, especially if they are feeling hesitant. For others who are unable to go on an official outing, stories may motivate them to share a Miraculous Medal or word of encouragement within their personal sphere of influence. Sometimes a story may help another evangelist understand how to approach a particular circumstance more effectively. Whatever the effect, your initial evangelization experience may wind up reaching another soul in need! With all of this in mind, please send any evangelization stories and accompanying photos you may have to stories@stpaulse.com.

God Will See You Through It All

Newark, NJ. There were ten of us who ministered and we got to speak to many people passing by. We shared Bibles, clothes, some coffee and bagels, and, most importantly, the hope of the Gospel and prayer. Several of the people were in desperate straits between mental illness, homelessness, addiction, and facing serious legal charges. The Lord gave us boldness to proclaim that He could see them through it all.

First Saturday Evangelization

Detroit, MI. Three evangelists came out on this cool October morning to evangelize at Eastern Market. The foot traffic was still decent, so we were able to talk with a variety of people who were out shopping for food, flowers, or just there to browse. One person we met was a student named Marty. He was extremely patient and polite, and listened to everything we had to say. Evangelists Beth and Arianna explained to him the importance of following Jesus. While he didn’t ask many questions or give us a sense of what he thought of it all, we hope some of what we said sunk into his heart and he will start pursuing Our Lord.
