Thank You for Your Prayers for Team Leader Mark Nutter

As some of you already know, Cincinnati team leader Mark Nutter (on the far right in the above photo) was in the hospital recently with cancer in his hip.

He sent the following update from his hospital bed: "Surgery went well, lasted 8 hours and I needed 10 units of blood. The tumor was contained and they believed they got it all. I'm feeling pretty good right now but I'm on 3 different pain medications. Thanks for praying!!! Hope to be out of the ICU tomorrow. This is the first day of the rest of my life and I'm cancer free!"

Please continue to keep Mark in your prayers.

God Loves You, and I Do Too!

Warren, MI. I recently found myself at the grocery store to pick up salt and some other items. When I saw the worker shelving items I felt I should say something but couldn’t think of anything and felt awkward. There was no tag so I asked the worker, “Jane,” to scan the item for me. After she gave me the price I said, “Oh that’s a great price thanks…and God bless you!” She responded the same so I asked her if she needed any prayer for anything today and she immediately turned toward me and said “YES!” She needed prayer for fibro cysts so I first asked if she believed in God and she said yes. Do you believe in Jesus and she said yes. Do you believe that Jesus can heal you right now? “Yes.”

Prayer Brings Changes

Boise, ID. Although the weather had been bitter cold earlier in the day, it warmed up and was relatively pleasant during our hour last week. Then, at “closing time,” it suddenly became chilly again. God is good! A pro-hockey game was scheduled to start in the ice arena near our spot, and people began to queue early. It gave us lots of new visitors. Some Catholics generously offered donations, which we graciously declined, so as not to sell blessed items. Lots of people accepted Rosaries, although they showed little interest in receiving more than the most cursory explanation of the devotion.
