Drive By Evangelization

Tampa, FL. The Tampa SPSE chapter decided to return to our go-to outing during the dark days of COVID. Reuben, Ted, Bob, Stacie, and I waved, smiled, and held signs indicating Jesus’ love for the passing motorists. It has proved to be a wonderfully successful way to evangelize to a lot of people as it is likely that thousands of cars passed us in those 4 hours. We received many horn toots, thumbs up, waves, and blessings from the motorists.

Thanks to Expert Construction Managers for supplying sandwiches and drinks to the weary evangelists!

Praised be Jesus Christ!

Car Show and Chili-Cook Off

Kenner, LA. The Kenner SPSE team held their first evangelization outing at the Car & Chili Cook off at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Family and friends were excited to see us distributing Miraculous Medals, blessed rosaries and literature about our faith. Those people who were not familiar with SPSE would approach our booth cautiously. However, when we listened and showed truthful consideration, they were very receptive to us. We met people who needed prayer and consoling. We collected their prayer intentions and went to the Chapel to pray for them. Many were pleased to know that someone cared and listened to them. A few were fallen away Catholics and a few lived several miles from the City of Kenner.

We were surprised to see many people gravitate toward three pamphlets: “How to Pray the Rosary,” “Confession” and “Reasons to Return to the Catholic Church."
