The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise, Idaho:
Our outreach brought a wide variety of encounters this week. An elderly man who appeared homeless stopped by, accepted a Rosary, several pamphlets, and a prayer card. Though his speech was difficult to understand, he seemed grateful and engaged. Please pray for peace and healing for him.
A family stopped to get Rosaries for their kids. The parents also chose Rosaries, and their son eagerly accepted a Catholic study Bible. Their teenage daughter declined all of our offers. Pray that this family grows closer to Christ.
Several young people who knew little or nothing about the Rosary stopped to learn more. Among them were skateboarders, college-age friends, and a teenage girl unfamiliar with Jesus. Many accepted Rosaries and pamphlets after hearing how the Rosary helps us meditate on the life of Christ. Please pray that these seeds of faith bear fruit.
One young Lutheran man accepted a Rosary but expressed skepticism toward the Catholic Church. Another group of young adults, including a man named CJ who was unsure about his faith, listened attentively and accepted Rosaries. Pray that their hearts remain open to God’s grace.
We also met a young family with a six-month-old baby. The wife seemed familiar with the Rosary, and both parents happily selected one. Pray that they begin praying together as a family.
Many self-identified Catholics stopped by as well. Some accepted Rosary pamphlets as a refresher, while others shared stories of their faith. Several people initially walked past but later returned to the table, sometimes bringing friends with them.
In all, we distributed 30–35 Rosaries and Rosary pamphlets, along with a few additional evangelization resources. Please continue praying that God prepares hearts to encounter Jesus Christ and His Church through this apostolate. We never know whom God will send our way—but He does.
