The Presentation of Our Lord

It is hard to believe it has been 40 days since Christmas. Time sure is flying by. What a beautiful gospel we all can learn from this weekend. We should all try to be like Simeon because of his determination and trust in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit revealed to Simeon that before he died, he would see the messiah. Simeon trusted in the Holy Spirit’s promise and joyfully awaited the day when he would see Jesus.

Simeon trusted in the Holy Spirit which is what we all need to do because the Holy Spirit promises us Amazing gifts. One day we will all see Jesus, we will be in his holy presence, just like Simeon. Let’s await that day in joyful happiness, not in fear because we are not prepared to see our Lord.SPSE Team Photo
