Many people are delighted to learn that the Rosary is all about Jesus Christ! - 2021-03-14

March 21, 2021

Many people are delighted to learn that the Rosary is all about Jesus Christ! So thank you again for your prayers for the Boise Catholic street evangelization effort. Two evangelists were available.

Two teenage women went by our table many times. The first time, they each chose a Rosary that, though not exactly matching, were the same color. The last time was after they had finally met up with their group of 6 or 7 more teens. One member of the group, a man in his upper teens, chose the pink Rosary from e. Lucy's hand.

Three college-aged women stopped. They were Christian, but did not know about the Rosary. They seemed excited to learn that the prayers of the Rosary focus on the life of Christ. They thanked us for the Rosaries and the booklet to guide them through it. Holy Mary, pray for them.

Another  group of 3 college-aged people stopped for a Rosary. One man was wearing a cross with Eccl 4:13 engraved upon it. They each received a brief explanation of the Rosary, then chose one and accepted its booklet.

A 20-something couple came to the table, the man saying he already had a Rosary but that a second one couldn't hurt. Then he showed us his cross on a necklace. We explained that the Rosary was a tool for prayer. It could be carried around the neck, but was best used when taken in hand for prayer. Pray, Mother, that he will see past the symbol to the real connection to your Son that the Rosary offers.

A man, loaded down with music equipment, gladly accepted a Rosary, but declined the pamphlet.

The last woman to visit us, 30-something and nicely dressed, told e. Chuck that she was Christian, but leaning toward the Catholic Church. However, she lamented, all the Catholic churches were shut down. We assured her that, here, all the Catholic churches are open. E. Lucy gave her a map of area parishes with contact info, showing her how she could attend Mass that very evening in one of several different parishes. Pray she gets connected.

Last Sunday was another beautiful day, but foot traffic was fairly light. Still, the two evangelists gave away 15-20 Rosaries and its pamphlet, as well as 1-2 maps to area parishes.

Please pray for us again today? Ask God to send people to us prepared to perceive their need for Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that much good fruit for His Kingdom comes of today’s efforts.

Our Blessed Mother leads people to her Son, and the Rosary is her special tool for doing so. So thank you again for your prayers and other support for this apostolate. In turn, may God protect and greatly bless you and all those you love!
