Geneva Farmers Market: Thursday, September 24

Last week at the Geneva Farmers Market evangelizers had the opportunity to pray with a young woman who was returning home to Ohio. She had come to Geneva to be with her birth mother, but the relationship did not turn out well. She was heading back to live with her former boyfriend’s mother, a situation she said was stable. Armed with a rosary we said farewell to her as she boarded the bus in front of the Farmers Market.

Today evangelists had the opportunity to minister to a young man who was homeless. Originally from Buffalo he found himself in Geneva and admitted to a drinking problem. He was given some food both at the market and at Our Lady of Peace and attended the 12:10 Mass.

Please pray for these two people that they may find their way home to the Lord and know the power of God’s love.
