Time is running out for our special Early Bird pricing that ends June 1st! Prices go up $20, so don't delay - register today!

Immersion is a dynamic and hands-on experience, designed from the ground up to help train, equip, and mobilize Catholics as disciple-makers who proclaim Jesus Christ in the world. The SPSE event includes prayer, a variety of direct evangelization experiences, dynamic talks, specialized breakouts, worship, and fellowship. We will gather as a community for Mass each day to be spiritually equipped for the encounters the Lord has for each of us. Attendees will have a chance to learn from other active evangelists as we share best practices and the stories of our daily encounters. Opportunity both to receive ministry and to minister to others will also be given.

Fallen Away Catholic Day

Schuylkill Haven, PA. St. John the Baptist SPSE team kicked off the evangelization season with its first outing at the Farmer’s Market in Schuylkill Haven, PA on Sunday. Almost immediately, the team was greeted by a non-Catholic Christian who had issues with “praying to Mary.” The team leader gently and cheerfully admitted this was a common setback for many Protestants, explaining that we don’t “worship” Mary, we “honor her” as our Mother, and the Mother of Jesus. The gentleman seemed disgruntled, but accepted the “What about Mary” pamphlet and went on his way, but not before his Catholic sister-in-law felt she needed to apologize for his manner. She was assured that this stumbling block is very common among non-Catholic Christians and we were very comfortable speaking about it. She accepted a medal, a new rosary, and prayer for healing.

Back to the Streets

Tampa, FL.
As soon as Bob and I arrived at the bus metro, we were greeted by one of its bus drivers who has a regular route there. He wanted to thank my husband and I for being there and spreading the gospel of peace. He was Christian himself, and it warmed our hearts to receive this message. For six years, we have brought Our Lady's presence and peace there as we pass out the Miraculous Medals, crosses, and share the kerygma. There are always so many different people that we talk to, from all walks of life. Ickra, a beautiful Muslim lady, accepted a good news pamphlet and she said that they basically believe the same beliefs as we do (Jesus, was a great prophet, etc.). I shared with her the kerygma. Please pray that as she reads the pamphlet, and that God will open up her eyes to the real truth of the gospel and come to experience God's love.
