Stories from the Street

It is always a special treat when the clergy get involved with SPSE. Here Fr. Simon Lobo, a religious priest of the Companions of the Cross, speaks with three protestant women who had many misconceptions about what the Church believes and why she believes it. This conversation lasted about an hour and a half and many doctrines were addressed such as Mary’s sinlessness, the primacy of Peter and the infallibility of the Pope, the intercession of the saints, and more. The group was very impressed that Catholics actually have logical and scripturally sound arguments for all of these beliefs. In the end, we were able to plant many seeds that the Lord can make grow at a future date. Pray for these women on their journey into eternity.
