Stories from the Street
Portland, OR. This picture captures two great conversations. In the background you see Josh speaking to a young man who unexpectedly approached and asked for a rosary. Josh gave him the rosary and explained to him that it was a prayer. “Speaking of prayer,” the man responded, and told Josh that he had a special prayer request. The team told him they would pray for him and offered him some literature about the Catholic Faith before he left.
In the foreground we see a family that was interested in free rosaries, miraculous medals, and other Catholic literature. They ended up leaving with several items that could be used by God to plant seeds that he will make grow. Another family stopped by as well, a protestant woman and her children. The woman is married to a Catholic and had considered becoming one but still had some problems with the theology of the Church. Steve was able to speak with her about these issues and gave her the conversion of Scott Hahn CD to listen to. Please pray for all these people on their journey in this life so that they may be united to our Blessed Lord in the next.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
