The following report comes to us from evangelist Fr. Loras and our team in Aurora, NE:

I spent two hours on Sunday afternoon at the west side of the Hamilton County Courthouse. After taking some pictures, I announced my presence on my personal Facebook page at about 3:15 p.m. I brought and set up materials (including rubber gloves and Cami-wipes to hand materials to people), and almost right away I had a visitor. It was a parishioner, very well known to me, and he said he saw me and wanted to see what I was up to.

While I gave out no materials during the outing, several people walked or drove by and greeted me. I was glad just to be a presence out there. No one was discouraging or derisive, although several chose not to look and just ignore. Grateful for the small things…my cap to place under my brimmed hat, as well as having some water to drink.
