The following report comes to us from team leader Nancy with our team in Gaithersburg, MD:
Bob and I went out today and I specifically prayed to God for a divine appointment. Right after we got there there was a guy sitting alone on the bench, no one around. I had never seen him before. He was a young adult, probably in his mid twenties. I asked him if I could give him a pamphlet and he was receptive. I started talking to him about how God was real and gave him a short witness. I asked him if he was raised in any particular faith and he said no. I told him God wants to reveal His love to him and that He has a great plan for his life. I then asked him in boldness to my request for a divine appointment if Josh would like to know God’s love and give his life to Him. He said “yes”, to my surprise! Again, there was no one around. It was as if God was saying, “Take your time. Don’t rush and ask Josh to pray the prayer out loud.” I said the prayer on the back of the Good News pamphlet as he repeated it after me. I felt it was such a God thing!!! He wanted more information and to make a long story short, he will be coming to 11:30 a.m. Mass this Sunday.
Please pray for Josh. Thank you God for arranging all this. May God protect what He started in Josh’s life and may He bring him to a powerful conversion! We have wonderful intercessory prayer warriors on our team.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
