The following report comes to us from evangelist Michael with our National SPSE team in Detroit, MI:
Mark and I got back out this past Saturday to evangelize at Eastern Market for the first time in 2021. It was fairly cold, but thankfully the sun was shining and there were more people out than we anticipated.
We had a few short conversations and recognized a few familiar faces from past outings. We met “Darnell”, who asked for prayers for his finances. Mark and I prayed with him, and as he walked away, decided to belt out a Gospel tune for us!
A woman, “Marie”, who had visited us in the past grabbed a few items from our table including the Gospel of Luke. A man who appeared slightly intoxicated but friendly took a free Miraculous Medal. We hope Our Lady draws him closer to her Son. All in all, it was a worthwhile outing and we’ll be back out again this weekend, God willing.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
