Welcome everyone!

St. Paul Street Evangelization is a grassroots, non-profit organization, dedicated to responding to the mandate of Jesus to preach the Gospel to all nations by taking our Catholic Faith to the streets. We do this in a non-confrontational way, allowing the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of those who witness our public Catholic presence.

Christ’s call to evangelize was made to every Catholic Christian, and the Second Vatican Council reiterated this need, urging each of the baptized to bring the Gospel, found fully in the Catholic Church, to a culture that has largely reverted to paganism. As an on-the-street Catholic evangelization organization, St. Paul Street Evangelization provides an avenue for you to share the Person of Jesus Christ and the truth and beauty of the Catholic Faith with a hungry culture. Click ‘Get Involved’ on the menu to find out how you can help.

I am happy to share with you the first of many encounters during my time in street evangelization. This past month I was able to attend Immersion in Detroit. It was a chance for any catholics interested in getting involved as well as street team leaders and regional missionaries to come together and receive more formation. On Friday afternoon, we headed to a nearby park with our teams to go and meet the people. I was able to meet a young man named TJ who had been in jail a few years back. I came up and offered a miraculous medal, which he graciously accepted. He also explained that he was on a quest that started five years ago, in which he was seeking to straighten out his life and follow Jesus. I explained to him that the Lord has always sought him out, and that he should continue to be hopeful in all his trials. We prayed together for more faith, and he went on his way with a smile on his face.

Happy Friday everyone! God bless,
