Immersion: One of the Most Unique Catholic Conferences in the World
July 17-19, 2025
Immersion 2025 is the National Conference for St. Paul Street Evangelization. Immersion is a dynamic and hands-on experience, designed from the ground up to help train, equip, and mobilize Catholics as disciple-makers who proclaim Jesus Christ in the world. Immersion 2025 includes prayer, a variety of direct evangelization experiences, dynamic talks, specialized breakouts, worship, and fellowship. We will gather as a community for Mass each day to be spiritually equipped for the encounters the Lord has for each of us. Attendees will have a chance to learn from the other active evangelists, make new friends as part of our tight-knit community, all while we share best practices and the stories of our daily encounters. Everyone will have the opportunity to receive ministry and to minister to others.
It is one of the most unique Catholic conferences in the world in that we will spend part of the conference ministering to others on the streets of Southern California through a variety of evangelization experiences. Because of the hands-on evangelization experiences, capacity is limited.
Location

“People throw around the word ‘life-changing’ so much that it’s starting to lose its meaning, but my experience at the Immersion Conference was really, truly life-changing. I learned so much and gained so much valuable experience actually evangelizing people that my life as a disciple is not the same as it was before. I’m on mission in new ways and I’m much less afraid, thanks to this conference.”

Is there any childcare available?
Unfortunately we do not have the staffing available to offer childcare. You will need to arrange your own childcare.
Are there any age limitations to attending?
This conference was designed for adult participation. Mature high school students can attend with their parent or guardian, who has sole responsibility for them.
Do I need my own transportation?
Yes. The area around Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove is known for being walkable, including a nearby shopping mall and restaurants. There are hotels near the conference venue. However you will need to provide your own transportation.
Do you have a hotel block at a local hotel?
Yes, we have partnered with Alo by Ayres. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Christ Cathedral campus. Booking information is found at the bottom of this page. Please note, we do not make any money from bookings. Feel free to book whatever housing you wish for the conference.
Do I have to go evangelize?
No. No one should feel compelled to go evangelize. The purpose of this conference is to help build your confidence in sharing your faith through prayer, fellowship, talks, and practice. We hope everyone who attends will join a team and evangelize, however if you don’t feel comfortable you can opt out. We will have other opportunities during active evangelization, such as Adoration, where you can pray for those who are evangelizing.
Will any food be provided?
We will provide food at the social on Thursday night and for supper on Saturday before Light the Fire. We will have some light morning hospitality available. All other food is your own responsibility.
What about parking?
