God draws people to Himself when they see the Rosary. So, thank you again for your prayers for the Boise Catholic street evangelization effort

For the second week in a row, the non-Christian sect was holding a convention in the sports arena. This one was probably a regional gathering. (Hopefully, that will be it for them for the next 6 month, DV.) We set up outside the elevator entrance along the north spoke.

A man in his late 20s stopped to ask what we were doing. He wasn’t Christian, but listened to our quick explanation of the Rosary as a way to get to know Who Christ is. However, he was shifting from foot to foot and, as soon as we got to a stopping point, he thanked us and continued on his way. May God grant him the grace to try the Rosary prayer anyway.

A 30-something man stopped for a Rosary, then asked for the Rosary pamphlet in Spanish. We encouraged him to get reconnected with his Faith. May God open his eyes to the continuing value of the Catholic Faith!

A preteen girl wanted a Rosary. She went to ask her dad, who talked with her for nearly a minute. They ended up walking away without one. May Our Lady intercede for the girl and continue to draw her to her Son and salvation!

Three males in their late teens males stopped. One of them said, “I used to go to church. I’m thinking of going again.” Another took a Rosary, saying, “My aunt will like a gold one.” The third stood back and scoffed at them both. Lord, may the boys actually pray the Rosary and choose You and Your Will despite negative peer pressure!

A man came from through the doorway behind us. He was dressed in black work clothes, with “Chef Alexandrea” on his shirt. His immediate response to our offer of a free Rosary was “Yes!”, and he accepted a Rosary and its pamphlet on how to pray it. May God bless his friendly enthusiasm with a true love for this devotion and a close relationship with Jesus Christ.

Three women in their late teens came directly to our table. One of them had her right arm in a sling. As e. James described the Rosary devotion to them, he mentioned the Rosary’s healing potential in spirit and flesh. They each accepted a Rosary and its pamphlet. Later, we saw the girl with the injured arm working in the restaurant that was right across the walkway where we set up. May God draw her to pray the Rosary and, in His mercy, grant her healing and the knowledge that He was the One Who healed her and loves her.

Two friendly men in their early 20s were all smiles in accepting a Rosary and its pamphlet. May the Lord use the Rosary to draw them closer to Himself.

A 35ish male said “Yes, please” to receiving a Rosary. He chose one in the colors of a local university. May God reward his kindness and draw him ever closer to Himself and salvation.

A couple in their mid-20s were dressed to display their many tattoos. He wore a t-shirt honoring a rock band from the previous century. Both, however, were very respectful and attentive to our explanation of the Rosary. They each accepted one and the pamphlet on how to pray it. May God show his presence in the reality of their everyday lives and fulfill what they were looking for in fantasy.

A stylish woman in her late 20s, with long curly hair and brightly painted nails, chose a yellow Rosary and accepted the pamphlet on how to pray it. May God also make her soul more and more beautiful!

A couple in their early 30s stopped. Only the woman, though, accepted our offer of a free Rosary and its pamphlet. She remarked as she was decided which Rosary to choose, “Oh, they’re so beautiful.” May her attraction to beauty lead her to Him Who is the Source of all beauty.

A male 30ish visitor from halfway across the country said, “I’m Catholic” as he eagerly accepted a Rosary . May the Lord keep him Faithful!

A large, multigenerational family stopped across the walkway from us, trying to figure out how to get a group photo. E. Nancy saw their need and ran across to them, volunteering to take the picture of them. Afterward, two of the men (the grey-bearded father and his 30ish son) smilingly came to the table and selected a Rosary apiece. May the men be prayer warriors for their family.

A 20ish, long-haired girl with a nose ring said, “Yes, I’m familiar with the Rosary” as she took a Rosary and its pamphlet. Lord, draw her to Yourself and let her experience Your life-transforming love.

A big, 35ish male riding past on a bicycle, said, “I’ll take one” and chose a Rosary. Lord, grant that the same impulse that made him stop also prompt him to draw close to You with the Rosary meditations.

 A woman in her late 40s, with a toddler-aged girl close by, responded to our Rosary offer with, “I always carry one with me!” Lord, bless the mom with Faithfulness and her whole family with salvation.

An exotic-looking woman, perhaps 19 years old, put the Rosary pamphlet in her shopping bag but refused to take a Rosary, smilingly saying, “I’m good.” Lord, may that be Your judgment on her life as well.

A 30ish male, wearing a red t-shirt extolling a resort town, stopped long enough to say which parish he attends. E. Nancy, who goes to the same parish, cheerfully responded, “See you at Mass tonight !” Lord, draw them safely to You!

Two grade-school-aged girls looked longingly at the Rosaries. One of them asked her 20-something mom, “Can I have one?” and got a firm “No!” response. Lord, break through the lies the mom has come to believe about Our Lady and Your Holy Catholic Church!

A 30ish man and wife passed by. She responded to our Rosary offer with, “No, I have one.” Lord, grant them true love for the Rosary devotion and, through it, draw them both to Catholic Sainthood!

 A lively family stopped, one of the daughters holding the baby. The mom named their local parish and, gesturing to the Rosaries, said, “We have others at home.” The dad smiled and said, “We pray it as a family.” It was so encouraging to encounter a family devoted to their Catholic faith and who clearly value the Rosary as a central, shared devotion in their lives. Lord, bless them and keep them Faithful!

A 35ish mom, holding her preteen daughter’s hand and wearing a t-shirt extolling an out-of-state resort, said about the Rosaries, “They’re beautiful.” She chose one, accepted its pamphlet and thanked us. Lord, bless them with the desire to spend time with You in prayer!

 A 30ish male responded to our offer with, “ I need a little God in my life.” He then accepted a Rosary and its pamphlet. But then he cut conversation short as he quickly put the Rosary around his neck, saying, “I have an order [pick-up from a restaurant]. Gotta go!” Lord, thank you for giving him the willingness to work and grant him the wisdom to work for Your Kingdom!

A 24ish female, sporting a neck tattoo and a t shirt extolling drug use, said “yes” and accepted a Rosary and its pamphlet . Lord, free her from bondage to addictions and lead her to the fulfillment of her true desire, Yourself!

A 30ish male and his wife walked by. He told us, “No thanks, but keep it going. Stay strong.” Lord, bless them for their encouragement and keep them strong in their faith in You.

A couple in their late 20s stopped. He wore shirt supporting an out-of-state school, and listened respectfully as e. Lucy explained the merits of the Rosary. They both chose a Rosary and accepted its pamphlet. Lord, draw them to actually pray the Rosary and draw close to You and salvation.

Two 20ish guys were riding on scooters. One was wearing a ball cap for an out-of-state team. They each accepted a Rosary and its pamphlet. Lord, grant them each a fast track to Your Heart!

Two mid-20s women, each sporting a lot of tattoos and wearing a ball caps, said, “Thank you”  as they each willingly accepted a Rosary and its pamphlet. Lord, bless them for their politeness and draw them to You, Truth Himself!

Although we weren’t able to set up in our usual spot, the three evangelists still gave away 25-30 Rosaries and its pamphlet on how to pray it, as well as perhaps one Divine Mercy prayer card.

Please pray for us again today? Ask God to send people to us with hearts prepared to perceive their need for Our Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that much good fruit for His Kingdom comes of today’s efforts.

We are amazed by how many people are drawn to the Rosary. So, thank you again for your prayers and other support for this apostolate. In turn, may God protect and greatly bless you and all those you love!
