The Philadelphia / Lower Bucks Country St. Paul Street Evangelization team got out for the annual Southampton Days Fourth of July parade. This parade has been a staple in the team's efforts, only missing a couple of times since the inception of the team about 10 years ago. The parade consists of local firefighters, law enforcement, motorcycle clubs, schools, churches, musicians, community groups, dance clubs, cheerleaders, politicians and businesses.  We were fortunate to have red, white and blue rosaries with miraculous medals attached, supplied from our St. Paul SE store, made by Our Lady's Rosary Makers - thank you thank you thank you and God bless your efforts always!  Hundreds of sacramentals were given away.

With it being the 250th birthday of our nation and a town just north of the birthplace of our independence, the community spirit was high and the parade was a wonderful slice of small town Americana. We are so fortunate to have the freedom to assemble in our nation and the freedom of speech. Bearing witness year after year at the parade undoubtedly produces unseen fruit and occasionally the team gets a glimpse into some effects of our presence. While this year there were not any reports from prior, the team joyfully recalls the several years where a woman and her family told us how they looked forward to seeing us there and praying with us. They must have missed the parade again this year.

Our team method for this parade is to setup our prayer station sign in front of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church and go off from there into the crowd that lines the parade path, up and down Second Street Pike. The team found many people who accepted rosaries and blessed medals. Many who accepted rosaries also accepted instructional pamphlets on how to pray the rosary, always a good item to try and share, to help people use the rosaries to pray to Our Lady.

In front of the prayer station there was a man and his adult daughter Stephanie, with special needs. Stephanie was so happy to receive a rosary and a blessed medal. She was animated and very excited to be at the parade, despite the heat. Her dad was not very talkative but did accept a blessed medal with a crucifix and St. Christopher medal combination. Nancy showed him that the St. Chris medal had Jesus carrying the baby Jesus on His shoulder and that perhaps that was a bit like him, carrying his daughter Stephanie through life.

Aggie and Deacon Mark met a woman who asked for prayers for her 30 year old brother Ryan from a neighboring parish who has brain cancer. Deacon Mark's own daughter Emily died of a brain tumor when she was just eight 25 years ago. We ask sweet little Emily's heavenly intercession for Ryan's miraculous healing in Jesus' name.

We also prayed with several people for our nation to continue to be blessed by God's divine providence with peace, prosperity, and hope for all. Additionally the team prayed for Christina, an expectant mom and her baby due at the end of July, who also happens to be a coworker of Nancy's who the team ran into while going through the crowd.  Several police officers also accepted blessed medals, one who comes to mind said no at first and then a few minutes later came back and asked for one and whether it was Catholic and blessed.

- For our law enforcement officers, especially those in Bucks County, to be kept safe and out of harm's way
- Ryan's healing from brain cancer, please intercede little blessed Emily Kuhn
- Christina and her baby
- Peace in our nation, Mary queen of peace pray for us, we entrust the USA to Jesus' sacred heart
- Galena and Ola, for their health and safety
- Pat and Ron for family life and eventual retirement
- Stephanie and Stevie for peace, joy and good health
