Each human being has unique needs, but God knows how to meet them. So, thank you again for your prayers for the Boise Catholic street evangelization effort.

• The fountain had been turned off, but a major pavilion was being constructed in the center of the business park, blocking off more than half of the area. Most foot traffic veered around it to the east, a few went to the west, and some people even came straight through the construction zone. (Notably, a perhaps unthinking father led his three school-aged children through the tent on bicycles. Lord, grant much-needed wisdom to parents and keep them and their family safe.)
• Two women, in town for a conference, stopped after one of them heard our offer of a free Rosary. She is Catholic, from halfway across the country. She expressed almost shock that Catholics were out on the street.  Since she already had “lots of Rosaries”, we asked her to pray it once for us. She agreed to do so. Her companion declined the offer of a Rosary but had attended Mass that morning with the other woman. Lord, keep our visitor faithful and grant her and her companion safe travel.
• An athletic-looking man, wearing a hoodie that celebrated a national football team, stopped because he was curious about the Rosary. He’s a non-Catholic Christian, so e. Chuck explained the devotion to him, and he chose a Rosary for himself and accepted its booklet. Lord, through Your Mother’s intercession, draw the man into an ever-deeper relationship with You.
• One of our Rosary makers had given us Rosaries with faceted, cream-colored, plastic beads. They were amazingly popular, with both men and women. May God again bless each one of our so-generous Rosary makers!
• A family group with three children stopped: a grandmother pushing a preteen girl in a stroller-shaped wheelchair, another child on foot, and a young mom. The grandmother had “plenty of Rosaries” but wanted her daughter and grandkids to get some because “they don’t have any”. The preteen-aged girl in the wheelchair reached toward the table. So, we briefly explained the devotion to her and gave her the Rosary she pointed to, as well as its pamphlet with the prayers. Lord, bless the child’s interest in the Rosary, heal her, and grant her Faith.
• Two men stopped when one of them wanted a Rosary. He was a non-Catholic Christian but listened with interest to our explanation of the Christ-centeredness of the devotion. He then chose one for himself and took a copy of its pamphlet. His companion declined to receive one. Lord, draw them both deep into a living relationship with You.
• “Brian”, whom we’ve met a few times over the years when he was homeless, stopped to chat. He is a non-Catholic Christian and very thankful to now be in housing, although he doesn’t feel well and was going to a doctor later in the week. He has felt called to buy food and so carries some in a cooler bag to hand out to the guys on the street. He has also felt called to be God’s “billboard” and wears Christian-themed t-shirts. He picked up a Rosary for his girlfriend. Pray for Brian’s health and that his mission to bring Christ to the homeless bears fruit.
• Several people went by whose facial expressions probably indicated that they were saying unkind things. Fortunately, the construction noise protected us from hearing their actual words. Lord, draw every human being to/back to You and salvation.
• A heavily tattooed couple cheerfully approached the table led by the man, while the woman said, “He will definitely want one”. The man said he knew about the Rosary because his grandfather was “a super Catholic”, and our visitor seemed to hold a lot of fond memories of him. It did not sound like the man was an active Catholic, so we made sure to show him how to pray the Rosary. I don’t think the woman took a Rosary. Please pray the man seeks to imitate his grandfather and lives in obedience to the Catholic Church.
• A man and his adult daughter drawn by “all the beautiful Rosaries” on display stopped at the table, each eager to choose one. They are Catholic but the man admitted it had been a long time since he had prayed the Rosary. So, we showed him the how’s and why’s of the prayer. Then they told us they were going on a trip to the Vatican in a couple months and shared their itinerary with us. May this trip be a spiritual pilgrimage for them and grant them inspiration to dedicate their lives to our Lord and Savior and come home profoundly changed.
• Two college-aged women came to the table, led by the Catholic one, who has gotten a Rosary from us before. The other girl is a non-Catholic Christian but, led by the enthusiasm of her friend, thoughtfully listened to us show her how to pray the Rosary and seemed intrigued by the merits of the prayer. Pray that these young women persevere in faith and seek to make Our Lady their confidant and role model.
• A Catholic couple from out of state came to our table. They exclaimed over our setup and that we were even there. Their son is a freshman and a football player (defensive tackle) at a local university. (Of the three, only the mom chose a Rosary.) The “praise God” part is that their son, who is a freshman, faithfully attends Mass on campus!
• Another man stopped, did not want a Rosary, and said something very encouraging about us being there in the public and how important it is. Lord, bless the man for his encouragement and keep his heart close to Yours. 
• Four young men stopped. Two of them came to the table and told us that they were Christian. E. Chuck assured them that Catholics are Christian, too. They talked with us, selected a Rosary, listened to the explanation. One asked e. Nancy when she’d become Christian. She told him she’d been “born Catholic” but had then stopped going to church for a lot of years. He said “the same” except he’d studied a non-Christian world religion for a while. We both rejoiced that he came back to Christ. Jesus is always right, He’s the only way. Lord, draw our visitor ever closer to You.
• A couple walked past us. Then the man turned around, and said something like, “You know what, I am going to get one.” He picked out a Rosary, E. Nancy explained the booklet to him and also expressed how much hope she feels from regularly meditating on the life of Christ. He said, so seriously, “That’s what I need right now.” Lord, show him that true hope comes only from You.
• A group of four men stopped. Most of them talked with e. Chuck, while e. Nancy talked with another one. That man told her that he belonged to an ancient, non-Catholic Christian, national church. None of us remember if they got Rosaries. Lord, thank You for their Christian faith. Please draw them ever closer to You.
• One man stopped and got an orange Rosary for his girlfriend. May God again bless our Rosary makers who’ve donated Rosaries in a variety of colors, each one appealing to a particular person. And may He bless the woman who receives the Rosary and grant her salvation.
• A couple stopped and the woman exclaimed over how beautiful the Rosaries were. He husband said, “She has so many!” She said she loves Rosaries, and selected yet another one. May the Lord grant that she values the prayers of the Rosary as much as she does its beauty.
• Some preteen children wanted a Rosary. One of the girls picked a bright purple one. Lord, draw each of these children to You.
• Between the construction obstacle and a major art show in a nearby park, foot traffic was a little slower. Yet, we still managed to give away another 35-40 Rosaries and its pamphlet.

Please pray for us again today? Ask God to send people to us with hearts prepared to perceive their need for Our Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that much good fruit for His Kingdom comes of today’s efforts.

It’s still amazing to see God’s love reach each individual person in a unique way. So, thank you again for your prayers and other support for this apostolate. In turn, may God protect and greatly bless you and all those you love!
