Mall - 10/10/26

Created: Oct 17, 2026

From evangelist Ingrid:

The mall was busy, and it was a blessing to meet so many people and have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them.

I met Gabriel, a shy young man who wasn\'t very talkative but was willing to listen and learn about Jesus. He shared that he was Christian, although he wasn\'t sure which denomination, and that his parents were not Catholic. I spoke to him about how he is God\'s creation, made with so much love, and how Jesus came to save him. I explained that God desires a personal relationship with him and shared how prayer helps us grow closer to Jesus. I also introduced him to the Rosary, explaining how it helps us meditate on the life of Jesus and is a beautiful way to pray. Gabriel accepted a Rosary and a brochure explaining how to pray it. What touched me was that, a little while later, he came back to get another Rosary for his cousin!

I also met a young couple, Anthony and Yasrin, who asked for prayers for their relationship. I prayed that God would guide them in their lives and in the young love they share, strengthening their relationship through His love and helping them walk together in His light. I spoke to them about the power of the Rosary, and they each accepted one along with a brochure on how to pray it.

Two teenage girls shared that their father is from Puerto Rico and that their grandmother takes them to Mass when they spend weekends with him. Although they don\'t understand Spanish very well during Mass, they pray the Rosary with their grandmother. Each of them accepted a Rosary so they could continue praying with her. What a beautiful way for faith to be shared between generations!

I met a young man named Seven, who requested prayers for protection and for his plans to succeed. I prayed that God would protect him, guide his steps toward His light, and help him use his actions and gifts for the glory of God.
We were also encouraged by fellow Catholics from Bound Brook, Hillsborough, and New Brunswick who stopped by our table to show their support and thank us for what we were doing. They shared that they had never seen Catholics evangelizing in this way before. Their words of encouragement were a beautiful reminder that this mission matters.

Meanwhile, the other evangelizer had several meaningful encounters as well. He spoke with a young couple actively serving in the Church and sharing God\'s love, a deeply devoted family, and a young mother who was expecting another child and already had a seven-year-old son. He also met a young man who shared that God had restored his sight, although he had not yet returned to church. Finally, he encountered a family who attend Holy Mass and whose love for Jesus in the Eucharist was evident. Each encounter was a reminder that everyone has a unique story and a personal journey of faith.

Every encounter was different, and every person had their own story, needs, and relationship with God. Some asked for prayers, others were eager to receive a Rosary, and others shared pieces of their lives with us.
