About Our Team

We're a group of Catholic laypeople in the Raleigh, Cary, and Durham area who go out once a month to meet people where they are: in parks, on sidewalks, at front doors, and in busy public squares. We bring rosaries, Miraculous Medals, and a simple question: "Can we pray for you?"

Our team comes from different backgrounds and parishes, including Regnum Christi, Encounter Ministries, and St. Paul Street Evangelization. Some of us have been doing this for over a year. Some came out for the first time last month. What we share is a conviction that the Lord is already at work in the streets of the Triangle, and He's inviting us to catch up with Him.

A typical outing lasts about an hour on a Saturday afternoon. We've set up at Moore Square in downtown Raleigh, Cary Regional Park, Pullen Park, NC State's campus, downtown Cary, and we've gone door to door in neighborhoods around local parishes. We keep it simple: show up, pray together, go talk to people, and see what God does.

And He does a lot. We've watched strangers open up about cancer, addiction, broken relationships, and fears they've never told anyone. We've prayed with people on park benches and front porches and seen physical healings, tears of joy, and fallen-away Catholics surprised that the Church came to find them. One woman told us she had never seen Catholics evangelizing before. We hear that more than you'd think.

If you've ever wondered whether God could use you in evangelization, or if it secretly sounds stressful and heavy, we get it. Most of us felt that way before our first outing. But here's what we've found: it's surprisingly joyful, and it's a lot more fun than you'd expect. You don't need training or experience. You can come once, walk with someone who's done it before, and just watch. You don't even have to say anything at first.

The same Jesus who walked through the villages of Galilee is walking the streets of Raleigh. He's already smiling over His people, already opening doors. We're just showing up, and along the way, He's letting us have a wonderful time.
