This report comes to us from evangelist Br. John with our National SPSE team in Warren, MI:
I was recently buying a used computer and wanted to test the internet by connecting it to my phone. I mentioned to the guy, Adam, who was selling the computer, how amazing the technology is today. He agreed and I mentioned how drastically technology had evolved since I first left to become a missionary. He said, “Oh, you must be from a church? Which one?” I said yes, the Catholic Church. Coincidentally, he said that he works for a Catholic organization as well. What a small world!
We talked about the church, religious life, and God’s amazing providence, especially how God connected us and got me such a good deal. After he tested the computer for me I asked him if he needed prayer for anything. He requested that I pray for the well-being of the community he works with. I asked, “What about you in particular? How’s your health?” He said he had no problems and was healthy and I thanked God for that. First I prayed for the community then a blessing for his family but then I added that Jesus would take him to the next level of really knowing God in his journey, as well as his family. He was very thankful and we blessed each other.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
