The following report comes to us from evangelist Maria in Pittsburgh, PA:
One of our evangelists and supporters recently came up with a great idea to explain the Miraculous & St. Benedict Medals and Crucifix to souls in a beautiful way, and include a holy card of Our Lady of Czestochowa and the medals and crucifix themselves! She created a triptych (usually a work of art divided into three sections or panels…in this case, a trifold brochure) which showcases the medals and can be left at residences to help rekindle devotion to Our Lord and Our Lady and offer protection through the St. Benedict medal. There is also a prayer to Our Lady printed on the reverse side. The medals were blessed by Bishop Waltersheid, and includes a letter from his excellency as well.
So far, 20,000 triptychs have been distributed across Pittsburgh (which means 60,000 sacramentals). The local Knights of Columbus helped raise funds to pay for the project, so if any other evangelists or team leaders might want to try something similar but are lacking funds, check with your K of C first!
