The following story comes to us from Hana, an online school student in Europe:
A few days ago, I prayed sincerely and asked God to give me a “divine appointment.” I said, “Jesus, please place someone in my path who needs to hear Your voice, and fill me with the Holy Spirit so I can speak with love and wisdom.” That same day, my mother who usually doesn’t talk much about religion started asking questions about prayer and why I’ve become so passionate about going to church. I felt in my heart that this was the moment I had prayed for. I gently began sharing about the Eucharist, the real presence of Jesus, and how my faith has brought peace to my life.
At the end of our conversation, I asked if she’d like to pray together. She smiled and said, “Okay, but you pray.” So I prayed the “Our Father” with sincerity, asking God to touch her heart.
This experience was very special to me. Maybe she hasn’t taken a big step yet, but I truly believe a seed was planted. I’m walking the path of evangelization, and I see how God uses even simple moments to shine His light.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
