This report comes to us from team leader David with our team in Vermilion, OH:
A young man, “Evan”, 16 years old, met our evangelization team at the flea market. He asked if he could hang out with us. We told him, yes, he could watch and pray if he wanted…but he was too young to evangelize at this point. Evan told us that he was going on his first mission trip to New York soon. I told him he should wear a St. Benedict medal to protect him from evil, which he put on right away. He came back and said he had a very good trip. Evan continued to come and spend time with us when we shared the Gospel, and around the fifth time he told us he thinks God is calling him to become a priest. I told his parents as soon as they came to get him about what he had told us, just so everything was transparent. They had no problem with that. I told Evan to read, “The Fathers Know Best” to learn about the church fathers and what they taught. We texted back and forth a few times, and he let me know that he went to the Easter vigil and had an amazing experience, and that he’d be going into seminary classes this fall!
Praised be Jesus Christ!
