The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise:

At a busy business park near the convention center, our usual spot was blocked by an event setup, so we moved across the walkway. Despite the disruption, God still brought people to us.

One man, preparing to move to Boise, shared that he had fallen away from the Catholic faith. When offered a Rosary, he accepted, and even asked for a parish map, saying it might be a good time to return.

Two women, one a frequent visitor, stopped to chat and accepted prayer for a family member’s serious health condition. Though they declined Rosaries this time, they welcomed the encounter.

A Catholic family accepted a Rosary for their son but expressed doubts about Church teachings. The father mentioned exploring other religions. We encouraged family prayer and invited them to take a Catechism, which they considered but did not return for.

Others responded in different ways: one man politely declined, saying he already had Christ; another softened from initial indifference to a kind farewell; some took booklets even if they already owned Rosaries; and one young man quietly grabbed a Rosary and pamphlet in passing.

Throughout the session, we gave away 15–20 Rosaries, along with pamphlets and a parish map. Again and again, we’re reminded: even those far from the Church are still drawn to the Rosary.
