The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise, Idaho:

God seemed to place a special emphasis on family during this outreach. Again and again, people stopped not to receive a Rosary for themselves, but for someone they loved…a father, daughter, mother, mother-in-law, or other relative. One group of women each chose a Rosary for an absent family member, a reminder that God often works through the prayers and concern of loved ones.

We also met a non-Catholic Christian who was delighted to see our table. After learning that the Rosary is a meditation on the life of Christ, she gratefully accepted one and expressed that “the world needs more prayer.”

Another memorable encounter was with a young woman named Noemi, who shared that she was an evangelist herself and had been having a very difficult day. Though she first asked only for a Rosary booklet, our conversation encouraged her to receive a Rosary as well. She thanked us for being there when she needed someone to talk to.

Despite the heat and a storm that eventually slowed foot traffic, our two evangelists distributed 20–25 Rosaries, Rosary pamphlets, and a Divine Mercy prayer card.

Please continue praying that God draws families ever closer to Christ through the gift of the Rosary and that many hearts are opened to His love through this apostolate.
