The following story comes to us from team leader Toni with our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania:
When our team evangelizes, a few of us stay at our table, while others take rosaries, medals and pamphlets, and walk around the surrounding streets encountering, talking, and praying with people who they meet. Yesterday, while we were out evangelizing, Dominic, one of our team members and station managers, encountered this beautiful woman. Here is what he had to say about her:
“The lady in the picture has throat cancer. She was hard to understand due to her inability to talk. I would say the gleam in her eye when I offered her the Miraculous Medal was priceless. Her facial expression said all I needed to know. She wanted me to place it around her neck.”
As you can imagine, we have placed her on our prayer list, along with all of the other prayer requests we received yesterday. What a blessing this ministry has been not only to those we encounter on the street, but to our entire team!
Praised be Jesus Christ!
