This report comes to us from team leader Bill with our team in Tampa, FL:
Once again, the Tampa Chapter of SPSE hit the Riverwalk with our wagon full of supplies (what we like to call our Mobile Evangelization Tactical Unit). We had a few interesting encounters:
-Lucia was glad to see us because she was having surgery Monday and appreciated the prayers.
-Oscar asked for peace in his heart. I thought that was interesting because he appeared to be homeless and didn’t have any shoes; still he prayed for internal peace.
-Alex walked by and he was also evangelizing. Evidently from an evangelical protestant background, he was asking people to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
-There were people from England, the Caribbean islands, and many different states.
-Two people even signed up to join us. I hope they do.
