Chris enjoyed talking to this couple, and they came back with more questions.

Mike spoke to “Danielle”, taking a break on her bike. She attends a Baptist church and wants to get closer to Jesus. Mike mentioned the rosary as a great way to meditate on Jesus’ life… he took out the pamphlet and a rosary and talked about meditating and putting herself into the mystery…she had never thought of praying that way….she asked for prayers for safety and direction in her life.

Barbie enjoyed her 1st experience with SPSE

“Danny” left his two friends to talk with Marilyn. He isn’t Catholic but is seeking a relationship with God. He very gently and humbly received instruction about how to say the rosary. He and Marilyn prayed together. Then he asked Marilyn to pray for him.

This very talented “one man band” was happy to accept a rosary and brochure.

Welcome!  We are preparing for Lancaster’s first St. Paul Street Evangelization event!  Here is what we are doing right now:

  •  Making  list of people who are interested in organizing and who are interested in taking the training and attending events
  • Make a list of things to purchase and costs. Specifically, we need tracts and business cards.. These are being looked into.  Sign and rosaries have been ordered.
  • Deciding on location and date for our first St. Paul evangelization event. Lancaster Square, Central Market and Clipper Stadium entrance seem like good possibilities, but please let me know if you have other suggestions.  We plan to have our first event mid-May.
  • Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 6 pm at Historic St. Mary’s Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA.
  • Our first “Apologetics Club” meeting is Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 7 pm, same location as above. The purpose is to prepare, role-play, and talk about our experiences after being on the streets.
  • If you cannot financially afford to make a contribution to take the on-line course please let me know and I will find resources to help.
  • We are excited to get to work and spread the Good News!  Holy Spirit, Pray For Us!
