The following report comes to us from team leader Janet with our team in Galveston, TX:
We always have so many beautiful encounters with people when we set up our table on evangelization day. This is one such story that made a big impact on us and that I’ll now share with you. We were approached by a woman who wanted to show us a photo that she had and the story of what happened to her daughter. She said that her daughter was driving and had a very serious car accident about three years ago. The car that her daughter was driving was hit and went airborne and flipped coming down hard on another vehicle. This accident broke her collarbone causing the bone to protrude out of her body. Her daughter told her that what happened next was a miracle. She said that she saw a bright light and a beautiful lady came to her. She believed the lady was the Blessed Virgin Mary and that she came and held her in her arms. She said she felt a great sense of peace and that she did not feel any pain. She was held like this until the paramedics showed up on the scene. Once they arrived, the Blessed Virgin Mary handed her to one of the paramedics and it was at this point that she felt the pain caused by her injury. She told her mother that she was wearing the Miraculous Medal and she attributes her survival and the Blessed Virgin Mary coming to her because of the Miraculous Medal.
One of the items that we hand out to people are blessed Miraculous Medals. I hope that all those that we handed out yesterday will be worn and venerated as a holy object and that each of those people will also experience miracles in their life for their faith.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
