Flowery Branch, GA. The newest Atlanta-area team, the Flowery Branch team of St. Paul Street Evangelization had a table set up after all six weekend masses at its associated parish, Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA.

Here is a report from the team leader, Pablo:
“Many of the parishioners were pleasantly surprised to know about this new ministry at Prince of Peace and gave us words of encouragement. They mostly asked questions about the mission of this team, and the role it will play both inside and outside the parish walls. The pamphlets displayed caught the attention of visitors, who took a good number of them. Among the more popular ones were: ‘The Good News,’ ‘About St. Paul Street Evangelization,’ ‘Common Objections,’ ‘Abortion,’ ‘Homosexuality,’ ‘What about Mary,’ and ‘Marian Doctrines.’”

“Sunday was a beautiful day, so we set up the table outside. One of the visitors, ‘Mrs. Y,’ saw our table before going to Mass, and wanted to stop by. She did so after Mass, accompanied by relatives. She shared some great news with us! After being away from the Church for close to six years, [during which] she attended a non-denominational community, and after going through difficult situations with her family, she had just returned to the Catholic Church on Sunday morning! She wanted to catch up and get to know her faith very well. She asked us for one copy of each pamphlet that we had, and we gave her a copy of Allen Hunt’s book: ‘Confessions of a Mega-Church Pastor.’”

“A beautiful family of about 40 people, who were celebrating the birthday of one of the members, stopped by and collected some pamphlets, along with a copy of the book ‘Rediscovering Catholicism’ by Matthew Kelly.”

“All in all, we were very blessed this past weekend, with all the people we met and talked with. We will continue to do the Lord’s will in Matthew 28:19-20.”

In case you don’t remember, the passage Pablo cites reads, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” And that is what St. Paul Street Evangelization is here to do. So will you join us?
