The following report comes to us from East Coast Virtual School of Evangelization student Martha in Las Cruces, NM:
I had written a reflection about my aunt who had passed away recently to pass out at her Vigil and funeral. My aunt died on the same day that St. Therese of Lisieux died. This date of death is significant because my aunt had a great devotion to The Little Flower and received Therese’s “calling card” of roses frequently in unexpected ways throughout her life. I also wrote in my reflection about my aunt’s childlike faith in God and that a rose had also been delivered to my aunt the day before she died at the hospital.
I had the reflection printed by Tacom Printing. When I went to pick up the copies, the owner of the printing company, who is not Catholic, was so blown away by the “coincidence” of the death date being the same as St. Therese’s that she shared my reflection with her employee and told me how “cool” she thought this was. I have been sharing other Catholic information with this person over the last year or so, and I am confident that the Lord will bring her to a full conversion to the Catholic faith. I’m praying to St. Therese for this.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Such a powerful witness of your aunt’s faith journey on this earth and into her eternal life!
Lovely story:-)
