The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy with our team in Boise, ID:

We’re seeing more families with young children lately, which is a good sign. We just hope the parents introduce the young ones to Jesus. In Matt. 19:14, Our Lord says, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Two evangelists were available to share the Gospel today, myself and Chuck. Our first encounter was with “Meredith” and her three children. She told us she had the children out of the house for the first time since March 2020. The two younger ones have serious medical issues, but had just received clearance from their doctor to go out, as long as they wore masks. They belong to Chuck’s parish (but remain unable to attend Mass). Meredith allowed each child to choose a Rosary. She said she’d try again to pray it nightly with them. She has already made a routine of reading the new Word on Fire devotional Bible to them. Please pray for this family.

Next was “Michael”, 30 years old, who told Lucy that he’d been raised Catholic, but left at the age of 15 for non-Catholic Christian denomination where the services were more “fun.” Now that he’s older, he realizes that standing and waving hands in the air is not the most important part of worship. He gladly received a Rosary, its booklet, and a mini-refresher course on how to pray it. Please pray he comes back home to the Church.

Praised be Jesus Christ!
