The following report comes to us from Br. John with our National SPSE team in Warren, MI:
I recently found myself at the grocery store to pick up salt and some other items. When I saw the worker shelving items I felt I should say something but couldn’t think of anything and felt awkward. There was no tag so I asked the worker, “Jane” to scan the item for me. After she gave me the price I said, “Oh that’s a great price thanks…and God bless you!” She responded the same so I asked her if she needed any prayer for anything today and she immediately turned toward me and said “YES!” She needed prayer for fibro cysts so I first asked if she believed in God and she said yes. Do you believe in Jesus and she said yes. Do you believe that Jesus can heal you right now? “Yes.” So we prayed for healing and she was so thankful. Then we talked about how people don’t do things like this and I agreed that we, as Christians, need to shine the light in this world so gripped in darkness. Eventually I said, “Hey Jane, God loves you so much and as my sister in Christ I love you too!” She said, “I love you too! Wow, thank you so much! You really made my day!” After I left I realized I needed to ask her about another item but this time gave her a Miraculous Medal. She was fascinated with it and put it on.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
