St. Paul Street Evangelization partnered with the Archdiocese of Detroit to bring Nightfever to Detroit. Nightfever is an intiative which grew out of World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne, and is spreading across Europe and North America with Nightfevers now taking place every month in over 40 churches. Volunteers go out into the streets and invite people to an encounter with Christ in His Church.

Here our National Director, Steve Dawson, speaks with Doc Robot Man! Doc is a performer who was out last night when SPSE hit the streets with the Archdiocese of Detroit to evangelize in Greektown, Detroit.

As you can see in one picture, Steve is giving Doc a chain which has a Miraculous Medal and a St. Benedict Crucifix on it. Doc was extremely grateful for the gift and put it on right then and there, as can be seen around his neck in the second picture.

Our street evangelization teams hand out a ton of Miraculous Medals, Crucifixes, and other items on these sturdy ball chains. This is a custom that we learned from many Saints such as Maximilian Kolbe and Mother Theresa.
