The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise, ID:

Lots of people were out in the sunny Spring weather. Three evangelists, Chuck, Todd and I, made it out to share the Gospel. We first spoke with “Denise”, who is suffering from cancer and who also seems to have lifestyle issues, is still attracted to the Catholic Church. May God grant her healing, physical and spiritual, and bring her home to Your Church before it’s too late.

Next, a large family stopped. Chuck spoke with the teenager, who said they belonged to a parish in another town but couldn’t remember its name. When the evangelist said the parish name, he agreed. He chose a Rosary and accepted the pamphlet, then listened politely as Chuck spoke about the Eucharist and spending time with Jesus in prayer. The rest of his family also received Rosaries. May they pray their new Rosaries together.

Finally, two guys, who looked like they were down on their luck, stopped. One was carrying a guitar and wanted a Rosary, but he didn’t know what it was for. Chuck explained the prayer and how the beads help you time your meditation. Our visitor replied that it sounded like music, the beads being like the musical notes. We agreed that there is indeed a tempo in the Rosary that changes us. May he let the Rosary and the life of Christ play in his heart.

Praised be Jesus Christ! Please pray for all the people we encountered today, especially a woman we met, “Laura”, who is a devout Catholic battling stage IV uterine cancer, although her uterus was removed 30 years ago.
