The following report comes to us from team leader Janet with our team in Galveston, TX:
The day started out with just the two of us and we were commenting to each other that we really needed a Spanish speaker as we had a real need for one and God answered our prayer by bringing a first-time evangelizer to us named Dorothy. God always provides and takes care of our needs.
Some of the highlights were a group of four young Hispanic males probably between the ages of 16 – 18 who walked by. They were offered a free rosary for each of them. It turns out they were wearing rosaries. However, they stayed for prayer for quite a long time. When they were done with prayer, one of our evangelizers prophesied that one of them would be a priest and the one that we all “felt” would be a priest stayed for more prayer, individually. He really opened up and beautiful prayers were prayed for him and his family. It was beautiful to behold.
I prayed with a mother and daughter who told me that the husband/father had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and would require surgery and a shunt put in his head. So, I prayed with them for him and that was also so beautiful.
The young man who works behind the counter taking orders for food in the little cafe asked us to bless a large picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We explained that the deacon could bless it in two weeks. He displayed it on a counter facing us while we evangelized and it was such a wonderful blessing to be looking at it when we weren’t busy.
I met an older man who was Catholic and seemed to be strong in his faith, so I invited him to join us in evangelizing; he will consider it. We call these outings, “Miracle Days” because we witness so many miracles talking, sharing and praying for the people that we encounter. It is truly a blessing to us to be there for them.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
