This report comes from team leader Joe in Ann Arbor, MI:

Thank you to the dozens of evangelists who volunteered with the Marian Booth at the Ann Arbor Art Fair these past few days! We were blessed with very comfortable weather and large, receptive crowds leading to incredible engagement with our booth. Here are a few highlights:

* Almost 1,000 rosaries handed out! We likely could have given away 100-200 more had the Art Fair not closed three hours early due to a weather threat (that never materialized).

* Over 500 miraculous medals handed out, a new record!

* All 50 “Why Be Catholic?” pamphlets handed out to interested non-Catholics

* 7 pages of names for our prayer list. In your charity, please take a moment to pray for these people and their intentions, especially those you talked to personally!

* A beautiful “street schola” that sang sacred music (and drew a crowd!) at Nickels Arcade

One thing that particularly struck me this year was the deep hunger for the “good, true, and beautiful” among so many with whom we spoke, especially young people. It is very clear that these younger generations are not satisfied with our materialistic, secular culture and are yearning for more. It was very moving to witness the receptivity with which people responded to our volunteers sharing the riches of Christ and the Catholic Faith as the only source of true fulfillment in time and eternity.

Thank you again for helping make this all possible. Going forward, let’s keep up the evangelistic zeal for souls! One excellent way you can do so is by getting involved with St. Paul Street Evangelization, if you aren’t already. There are teams all across the area, including Ann Arbor, Chelsea, and metro-Detroit – check their website for a map of all the locations.

May God richly bless you for your efforts in His service!
