The following story comes to us from team leader Nancy with our team in Gaithersburg, MD:
As we share in God’s prophetic ministry as priest, prophet and king it is such a privilege to see the expression on people’s faces when we share that God never created death but created us to live with Him forever. It also amazes me that people, young adults in particular, have never heard the amazing news of God’s plan of salvation. Two people that I encountered last Thursday, Son and Jayson, were like thirsty people drinking in the good news. They were eager to receive information and our cards that we are handing out to invite people to OCIA at our church. Please pray they will come. Amparo reached a good portion of the Spanish population there to hook them up with the sacraments. Sheila passed out a great number of cards also and prayed over Marie, who was headed to the hospital, for healing in her leg. Please pray for her healing also.

The Saturday before Bob and I went out and got to know a beautiful man, Woodrow, whose legs were amputated because of diabetes, but had the greatest disposition of being so grateful to God for everything in his life. He was such a witness to us and a pleasure to get to know. David Ford was also there befriending people and prayed for David, a regular at the bus stop whom we have been praying for for years. He has a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia of the facial nerves and it has improved somewhat but David prayed for pain in his back. I keep a list of all the people that we need to pray for for conversion but particularly people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. I have not seen a number of them recently. I am praying God has freed them of their addiction.

May God continue to bless and protect our little chapter and Our Lady guide us.
