The following story comes from Lucy, team leader of our Boise, ID team.
We often find ourselves surprised by the people God sends our way. One man named Dakota approached our table declaring that the Catholic Church was “a willing instrument of the devil.” What followed was a long and at times heated discussion. Though we gently corrected his historical errors and showed him Scripture in context, he would change the subject or launch into conspiracy theories about the Vatican and pagan symbols. Still, he told us he believed we were saved—his issue was only with the Church. Please pray that God frees Dakota’s mind from error and leads him into the communion of saints.
Later, a soft-spoken man of a non-Christian faith asked Chuck about the Rosary. His curiosity led to a respectful conversation about Jesus’ divinity, the Trinity, and salvation. Though he had to leave, he said he’d return to talk more. Please pray for his conversion and that the Holy Spirit continues to stir his heart.
A 20-something skateboarder, dressed for summer despite the cold, rolled up to examine the Rosaries. He asked vague questions about Genesis and Ezekiel, then hesitated over which Rosary to take—picking one up, then putting it back before skating away. Though he avoided us afterward, we pray that he will one day place his full faith in Jesus Christ.
Due to a nearby mining exposition, we had to relocate our table, and the weather turned chilly. Still, by God’s grace, we gave away 20–30 Rosaries and pamphlets that day. Please pray that the Lord continues to send hearts open to His truth, and that our work bears abundant fruit for His Kingdom.
We’re deeply grateful for your prayers, enthusiasm for the Rosary, and support of this apostolate. May God bless and protect you and your loved ones, and may His peace flow through every encounter we have in His name.
