This report comes from team leader Beth with our Sacred Heart team in Havertown, Pennsylvania:
The Saturday before Christmas 2025 a rosary rally was arranged across the street from our parish on the sidewalk of the ACE hardware store. I wasn’t completely sure why it was to be there, but it seemed fine since it meant our pastor Fr. Sam could attend more conveniently (thank you Fr. Sam for leading the rosary meditations) and we would be visible from the street. We held a banner and a homemade sign that read, “FREE ROSARIES”. As we were praying, a lady parked in the lot behind us and got out of her car and started walking toward us. I didn’t recognize her and wondered if she was coming to pray with us. She approached, we exchanged hellos and I asked if she came to pray with us. With a bright smile she said she saw our rosary sign and wanted a rosary for herself and granddaughter. She began to get tears in her eyes repeatedly saying she believed our prayer and rosaries were a “sign” to her. We asked if she knew how to pray the rosary and she said she was familiar with it and hugged me and a team mate with great joy and tears. We told her we are always there, pointing to the church across the street. All of this happened as we were closing our rosary prayer and time on the street. THAT is why we were there and the rosary sign worked to bring someone closer to God, through Mary.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
