We encourage people to respond to God with prayer. During an evangelization outing near a sports arena and convention center, where a girls’ athletic competition and a home improvement show were taking place, several attendees from both venues stopped to receive a Rosary. Lord, please bless all those who responded to the sign of Your caring presence.
One family passed by our table after leaving the home improvement show. While the parents declined a Rosary, the children were drawn in. After receiving their parents’ permission, the boy chose a Rosary, followed by his 3- or 4-year-old sister. When she saw the colorful Rosaries on the table, she exclaimed a joyful “Ha! Ha!”…a moment of pure delight. With little time to talk, we placed a Rosary and pamphlet into each child’s bag. Lord, bless these children and draw them into a lifelong relationship with You.
A middle-aged, non-Catholic Christian woman stopped to talk at length. She is a mental health provider and a woman of prayer. She shared about a young woman who had not responded to treatment over many years. When this patient arrived with a Bible in hand, the provider (working in a secular setting) received permission to “study the Bible” with her. Through Scripture, the young woman has found hope and begun making real progress. She also accepted a Rosary after hearing about its Christ-centered meditation. Please pray for both women, that Christ continues His healing work in their lives.
Two women also stopped by (one eager, one hesitant). The eager woman said she was Catholic but now attends a local megachurch for the sake of her children. She admitted missing the quiet of the Mass and was thankful for the reminder of the Eucharist and the gift of a Rosary. Please pray that she heeds the call stirring in her heart to return fully to the Mass.
Despite chilly, overcast weather, foot traffic was strong for the first time in weeks. We gave away 35–40 Rosaries and pamphlets. Please continue to pray that God sends people with hearts ready to encounter Jesus and His Holy Catholic Church, and that abundant fruit comes from these efforts. Thank you for your prayers and support. God is serious about saving people. May He richly bless you and all those you love.
