The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise:
We asked four people if we could pray with them; two said yes. One was a young woman, likely raised in a non-Catholic Christian tradition, accompanied by a man of similar background. She asked prayers for a male relative battling cancer. Together we entrusted him to the Lord, asking for healing and that he may know the saving love of Christ. Another man, who appeared to be homeless, accepted both a Rosary and prayer. Having lost much of his eyesight after a stroke, he declined a pamphlet but was grateful to learn about audio versions of the Rosary. He asked for healing: restored vision, strength in his leg, and relief from the effects of the stroke. We prayed for Jesus to make him whole. Though the nearby sound system made conversation difficult, he left without limping. May the Lord continue His healing work in him.
Two older teens on bicycles stopped for Rosaries. The young woman carefully chose one to match her bike, eventually settling on a pearl-green Rosary. Lucy gently explained that a Rosary is not a charm, but an invitation to prayer and meditation on the life of Christ. We pray they will use it not as decoration, but as a path to deeper faith.
A group of young adults with small children also approached the table. A three-year-old girl eagerly picked out the tiniest blue Rosary, disappointed it wouldn’t fit over her head. With her brother’s help, she agreed to keep it safely in her pocket. May the Lord bless these children with enduring faith.
One woman from out of town was delighted to receive a Rosary, having forgotten hers at home. She gratefully exchanged it for one that caught her eye. May it draw her into deeper prayer.
Despite the loud music in the business park, the Lord gave us beautiful weather and many encounters. We distributed about 25 Rosaries with pamphlets and two Divine Mercy prayer cards.
Please continue to pray for our team—that hearts may be prepared to encounter Jesus Christ and His Church, and that much fruit will come from these efforts. Thank you for your faithful support. May God bless you and all those you love.
