The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise:
Our unchanging God continues to draw hearts to Himself. This week, we tried a new opening question: instead of “Are you Christian?” we asked, “Do you know that Jesus loves you and has an amazing plan for your life?” The response was overwhelmingly positive…even enthusiastic, and it led naturally into sharing the Rosary as a Christ-centered devotion that draws us closer to Him. We plan to keep the new approach.
A Catholic family from about 50 miles away stopped when a grandmother brought her two-year-old granddaughter back to choose a Rosary. They stayed to chat and asked for prayers for the child’s great-grandmother, who is battling cancer. We prayed for her healing and for the family’s unity in the Lord.
Another Catholic woman, delighted to receive a Rosary to carry with her, asked for prayers for relief from anxiety. We prayed with her on the spot, and she left smiling. May Christ fill her with His peace.
Two men initially declined but later returned. After hearing about the Rosary and its Gospel-centered mysteries, both accepted one. One commented on our optimism, opening the door to share the hope we have because Christ conquered sin and death. They asked for prayers for health and happiness, and we prayed for them, body and soul. May the Holy Spirit lead them into deeper faith.
At the end of the session, a man in his thirties returned with questions. Raised Catholic but now separated from the Church, he voiced concerns about tradition. As Scripture and the call to Christian unity were gently shared, his tone softened. Please pray that the Holy Spirit guide him into the fullness of truth.
With beautiful weather and lively foot traffic, the team distributed 30–35 Rosaries and several prayer cards. God is clearly at work. Please pray for today’s outreach, that hearts will be ready to encounter Jesus Christ and His Church, and that much fruit will come from these efforts. Christ remains the Prince of Peace, and people are still drawn to Him. Thank you for your prayers and support. May God bless you and those you love.
