The following report comes to us from a Basic Evangelization Training attendee in Garden Grove, CA:
We came across a couple at The Orange Circle that had just gotten married. They were out taking pictures with their photographer and just on Cloud Nine celebrating. I had one Miraculous Medal left along with the prayer card and gave it to the bride. She was Catholic but probably not practicing, but it didn’t sound like the husband was Catholic. Then I asked them if they wanted the prayer, and they said yes. So we prayed and I just said this was a good opportunity/time for them to get back to church and that it was a reminder to keep God at the center of their marriage. All in all, it was a really positive experience. Interestingly, the photographer was the most moved of all…she was crying during the whole thing!

I am the president of a 96 unit, 55 and older condo building in Sunrise Florida. As such I interview people that want to buy a unit or rent a unit. Yesterday a young man came in to my home to ask how to fill out the application. He is very well known to me as he is a licensed Air Conditioner Repair contractor that I have recommended many times. I was puzzled by his request for help but went along for a well then I said “You have filled out forms like this many times – what’s the problem? ” He didn’t answer so my sense of what I was seeing took over. “I said you were born Catholic right? ” “Yes but I don’t go to church anymore I pray every day and offer my day to Jesus though.” I said “You know the Holy Spirit told you to come to see me, I can feel it, Can you”” He said “Yes, I do,” At that moment I could feel the Holy Spirit in my office with us.
I said “Jesus is telling me to tell you He loves you and wants you back, do you believe that?” “Yes I do.” he said. I gave him a Saint Monica prayer card and a Our Lady of Guadeloupe card. I wrote both and give them out at my parish. The first is a prayer to bring back fallen away Catholics and the second is “Steps to piety living a Holy life by these habits – Bow your head at the Holy Name of Jesus, say Grace at every meal in and out of your home – maintain a Holy Water font at your bedroom door Bless yourself and dedicate your day to Jesus. I told him to listen to Relevant Radio while on the road and gave him “My treasure of Catholic Prayers” book I buy from the Sisters of Charity to give away. I told him to say Grace at each meal for three days and listen to Relevant Radio for three days. I gave him my cell# and he called me this morning for information he could get himself. When he left his eyes were glistening. He texted me “Thank you very much” Anyone that wants information on my cards please write to me with Holy cards in subject line. I have give away over 1500 Saint Monica cards and over 1200 Our Lady of Guadalupe cards – they work!
