This report is the second in a two-part story from team leader Lucy in Boise, Idaho:
More people seem to be moving out of indifference toward a desire for Faith. So, thank you again for your prayers for the Boise Catholic street evangelization effort.
A non-believing dad, accompanying two grade-school-aged girls, stopped when one of the girls wanted a Rosary. The evangelist also gave her a copy of the Rosary pamphlet as an introduction to Jesus. May the Rosary draw the girl into a living faith in Jesus Christ.
A down-and-out-looking couple stopped when she wanted a Rosary. “She’s Catholic,” the man volunteered. When asked which parish they attended, they said they were “new in town” and hadn’t gotten connected yet. The evangelist gave them a map, helpfully pointing out the nearest parish. They each chose a Rosary and accepted the pamphlet on how to pray it. Our conversation was cut short, though, as other people stepped up to the table. Lord, You know this couple’s needs. Please provide all that they require to get their lives back on track and moving in the direction You desire for them!
Altogether, the apostolate gave away 15-20 Rosaries and its pamphlet, one Good News/kerygma pamphlet, and 2 maps to area parishes.
Please pray for us again today? Ask God to send people to us with hearts prepared to perceive their need for Our Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that much good fruit for His Kingdom comes of today’s efforts.
God continues to draw people to Himself! So, thank you again for your prayers and other support for this apostolate. In turn, may God protect and greatly bless you and all those you love!
